Corrina qualified as a Solicitor in 2002 and undertook her own costs negotiations whilst in practice, before moving exclusively into the legal costs arena in 2006. Corrina worked at a national costs practice, where she was promoted to lead the Negotiations Team within her first year. She went on to lead the Technical Department at the practice with responsibility for a variety of complex and novel legal and technical disputes. She later cross qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2014.
Corrina is a multi-disciplined costs expert with experience of both Legal Aid and Inter Partes matters, with a particular interest in technical disputes and complex costs claims. She is also an experienced advocate and has attended Detailed Assessment hearings at County Courts as well as the Senior Courts Costs Office.
Corrina prides herself on her analytical skills and technical knowledge. She is adept at balancing the commercial needs and requirements of her clients with the requirements of the legal process, often thinking laterally to find a resolution in the best interests of her client. By utilising her understanding of the litigation process in practice, she is able to ensure that her clients achieve the best possible outcome in the shortest possible time.
Away from work, Corrina enjoys spending time with her family as well as knitting, reading, and attending the theatre and music concerts. She is also fond of travel and takes any opportunity to learn a new language.
