Profile

James is an experienced Solicitor who specialises in high value and complex costs matters with a particular interest in clinical negligence.  In 2016 he was shortlisted as Lawyer of the Year by the Modern Law Awards and is a former President of the Surrey Law Society.

James was previously the Head of the Costs Department at a leading national law firm with over 15 offices across the country. As part of his role he was responsible for supervising costs aspects relating to all fee earners practicing in the areas of personal injury, clinical negligence, family law, civil litigation and professional negligence.

James has played an integral role in the development of the firm’s strategic direction since 2015.  He works on initiatives for sustainable growth and has spearheaded the firm’s expansion to several offices across the country.  He works closely with the other members of the management team to ensure that clients consistently receive an exceptional standard of service across all departments.

Away from the office, James is a keen football fan.  He also enjoys the cinema, reading and spending time with his family.
