Mark has worked in the costs industry for over 30 years. He is a multi-disciplined costs expert and specialises in both Legal Aid and Inter Partes matters.

Mark deals with all types of publicly funded matters including Private Family Law, Care Proceedings, Housing and Judicial Review with particular expertise in the preparation of High Cost Case plans. His meticulous approach to drafting enables him to provide a comprehensive and bespoke service and he has a proven track record of reducing Legal Aid Agency rejection rates for new clients.

As well as preparing Legal Aid claims for costs, Mark also regularly deals with matters in the Court of Protection. He is proficient in preparing Inter Partes Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute and Replies to Points of Dispute. He is also an experienced advocate and has attended Detailed Assessment hearings at County Courts as well as the Senior Courts Costs Office.

Away from work, Mark enjoys playing and watching football and is a regular 5-a-side player. He also enjoys attending music concerts and spending time with his family.
