The Costs Department at Elite Law Solicitors are currently offering legal costs webinars for law firms on the topic of time recording, maximising income and increasing profit margins. The webinars are free of charge and take place via Microsoft Teams. Following the webinars, attendees have the opportunity to speak informally with the presenter during a Q and A session.
The webinars are presented by experienced Costs Lawyer, Sue Nash, and provide essential guidance for litigators on optimising costs recovery and improving cashflow. Attendees will gain valuable insights into effective time recording practices that enhance costs recovery potential, including what’s normally chargeable / recoverable versus non-chargeable / non-recoverable and the importance of file notes.
The sessions also explore cost-saving strategies, such as delegating work to Grade D fee earners, using external agents, and leveraging both in-house and external costs experts. Attendees will learn best practices for managing inter-party costs to enhance cashflow, and to assist efficient cost management across their practice.
