Profile

Siraj is dual qualified as both a Costs Lawyer and Chartered Legal Executive. He is an experienced and versatile legal costs expert and is well versed in preparing Bills of Costs, Points of Dispute, Replies to Points of Dispute and Precedent H Costs Budgets.

He represents clients in the justification and opposition of costs and has a particular interest in high value industrial disease, clinical negligence and commercial litigation matters. He undertakes advocacy at Detailed Assessment hearings, costs related application hearings, directions hearings and represents clients in Solicitors Act matters.

Siraj heads up a team of legal costs specialists and is responsible for managing one of the firm’s key client accounts. He combines his fee earning responsibilities with a business development role and plays a key part in developing and implementing the firm’s marketing and growth strategies.

In his spare time Siraj enjoys spending time with his family and friends. He is a keen football fan and organises Bedfordshire’s largest annual 5-a-side charity football tournament, raising money for various charitable causes.
