Sophie underwent a Criminology degree at Bucks New University achieving a 2.1.

Sophie initially trained with Elite in 2014 and has since worked with a number of reputable law firms, including a prestigious “Magic Circle” where her workload consisted of multi-million pound commercial matters. She qualified as a Costs Lawyer in 2022.

Sophie has gained invaluable experience in preparing Costs Budgets, assisting with the costs management process, preparing complex Bills of Costs for Detailed Assessment and achieving favourable settlements for her clients.

She is experienced in handling costs-related work in an array of different areas including clinical/professional negligence, personal injury, commercial litigation, dispute resolution, tax, immigration, family and court of protection. Currently, her workload involves predominately Claimant associated costs. This includes the preparation of Precedent H Costs Budgets, providing costs management advice, preparing Statement of Costs, drawing Bills of Costs, settling Replies to Points of Dispute and negotiating matters to settlement.

In her spare time, Sophie enjoys camping, cooking, cycling and spending time with her family. Sophie also likes to travel and explore different cultures and countries.
