Profile

Stephen is a founding Partner of Elite Law Solicitors and has been a legal costs specialist for over 30 years.  He is a former Council Member and Treasurer of the Association of Costs Lawyers and was one of the first legal costs specialists to obtain the status of a Costs Lawyer, with rights of audience and the right to conduct costs litigation.

Stephen specialises in the preparation of high value, complex Bills of Costs in clinical negligence, catastrophic personal injury and commercial matters.  He also has considerable experience of the costs budgeting process and preparing Points of Dispute and Replies in all aspects of costs litigation.

In addition to his fee earning responsibilities, Stephen leads, guides and implements decision making processes, including those relating to the firm’s growth and operational strategy. He oversees the firm’s performance and recruitment strategy, ensuring that the best legal talent is recruited and retained to enable the firm to continue to meet the highest standards of legal excellence.

Stephen’s leisure interests include golf, skiing, hiking, travel and the occasional glass of wine!
