Neveen Galal is a highly experienced Corporate Immigration Solicitor who qualified in 2005 and is based in our Central London office. She specialises in corporate immigration, global mobility and bespoke UK residence and citizenship solutions for high-net-worth individuals, highly skilled workers and businesses relocating people or operations to the UK.
Known for handling complex and unusual immigration matters, Neveen combines strategic legal advice with extensive experience of appeals, judicial review and advocacy before the courts and immigration tribunals. Her work includes challenging decisions and procedural failures involving the Home Office, UK Visas and Immigration, the Secretary of State for the Home Department and other public authorities.
Neveen was one of the first immigration solicitors to successfully challenge the UK Government’s detained fast-track scheme in 2005. In 2007, she established the immigration and asylum department at the UK’s largest immigration law firm, where she held the senior positions of Director and Head of Immigration until 2013.
Before joining Elite Law Solicitors, Neveen founded a successful boutique law firm in 2015 specialising in high-net-worth immigration and corporate global mobility. In 2016, she became the first solicitor to bring a judicial review challenge concerning the UK Government’s Investor Visa dependant rules, contributing to changes and clarification in the UKVI rules for investors and their dependants.
UK Immigration Advice for Individuals and Businesses
Neveen advises individuals, families and businesses on complex UK immigration issues where careful strategy, detailed preparation and decisive representation are required. She can assist clients seeking tailored residence or citizenship advice, organisations managing international talent, and individuals challenging an immigration decision, delay, detention or procedural failure.
Her experience at senior leadership level, record of significant legal challenges and extensive advocacy work allow her to provide practical, authoritative guidance in high-value, sensitive and legally complex matters.
Complex Immigration Appeals and Judicial Review
Neveen’s expertise extends to public law and judicial review. She regularly challenges the actions and decisions of the Secretary of State for the Home Department, UKVI and other immigration authorities, and has also successfully judicially reviewed the Ministry of Justice.
She has a strong record in immigration appeals, particularly in complex or unusual cases. Her experience includes human trafficking matters, procedural delays, unaccompanied asylum-seeking children, immigration detention and procedural irregularities by the Home Office. As an appeal advocate, she has considerable experience representing clients before the courts and immigration tribunals.
